ONO Robot's Guide to Staying Safe on the Internet

A Tactical Tech series of short animations featuring the character ONO, a friendly robot whose mission is to teach you how to use the internet, social networks, and your phones, securely.

“Survival in the Digital Age” is a series of short animations featuring the character ONO, a friendly robot whose mission is to teach you how to use the Internet, social networks and your phones, securely.

In eight short clips and five longer episodes, ONO gives you the keys to understanding how to surf the web securely, send encrypted emails, choose an effective password and use social networks wisely, among other things.

This Tactical Tech project aims to help you gain a deeper understanding of how your online activities are being tracked without your knowledge; if you are an independent journalist or activist, this can be crucial. At the same time, ONO offers advice on the technologies available to help you protect yourself, and the habits you need to adopt to keep yourself safe.
